Xavion is an innovative tool that provides pilots with valuable guidance in the event of engine failure, ensuring a safe and efficient glide to the nearest airport. By constantly analyzing engine-failed glides to all runways within reach, Xavion offers a Highway-In-The-Sky visualization, allowing pilots to navigate through hoops and reach the runway with ease. This sophisticated software takes care of glide-planning, enabling pilots to focus on flying with confidence. Furthermore, Xavion features instrument approaches in 3-D for the United States, allowing pilots to select and execute any approach effortlessly.

One of Xavion's standout features is its ability to track other airplanes via ADS-B technology. The software not only memorizes the location of nearby aircraft but also monitors their wake turbulence, providing real-time data on its movement and direction. This unique functionality is presented visually as spiraling tornados, giving pilots a clear understanding of potential wake turbulence hazards.

Additionally, Xavion offers ADS-B weather retrieval capabilities when used with a portable receiver. Pilots can conveniently access weather information such as icing conditions, turbulence, and lightning products directly within the app. Moreover, Xavion provides METARs and winds aloft from the internet, ensuring comprehensive pre-flight planning in areas with WiFi or cell signal.

With Xavion, pilots can assess weight and balance calculations as well as estimate takeoff distances against the length of the runway. This insightful feature alerts pilots when the available runway length may be marginal for a safe takeoff, enhancing overall flight safety.

Furthermore, Xavion assists pilots in optimizing their flight plan by estimating time and fuel burn at different altitudes for any given destination. By presenting time and fuel burn requirements for each enroute altitude option, pilots can make informed decisions and select the most efficient altitude for their journey.

Xavion stands out as the only solution that offers comprehensive engine-failure guidance and wake-turbulence avoidance. Additionally, the base subscription includes all VFR and IFR charts and plates for the United States, making it an all-in-one tool for navigation.
